♥ bored out of my mind!
This summer, I was supposed to be on my first out of two practicums (yes, I have to do two practicums), but due to the absence of any suitable offices for me to do my hours, I dropped the practicum and now I'm bored. Since my summer plans are now undefined, I don't anything to do (thus being bored) unlike last year - Spanish Classes at Instituto for three weeks, short Bataan trip, and something else I forgot about.
Now, nothing! I've got nothing to do! Well, I have something to do - run - but I'm getting bored doing ONLY that three times a week! But I have to do it since...well, I'm fat! LOL
Hopefully, I'll be a busy-body by next week. I want/need/have to enroll back to Instituto (for me not to take a placement test since I've been out of Instituto at least 4 months now) and be back on running since I've been sick (sick in the head, kiddin') this past week. At least I have two constant activities for 3 weeks:)
And this weekend, I'll be with friends (thanks fo saving me Doyt!) since one of my friends has a complimentary pass for an overnight stay in a nearby hotel (nearby meaning near my house). Wee! I'll be un-anti-social this weekend! Hephep-hooray!:)
I just have to share this and this is not really connected to what I was saying above there:) Yesterday, I was practically a walking-breathing bad luck charm! My mom and I realized this when we were walking along San Miguel Ave. I guess it all started when I got out of the house/unit and went down one floor and found the elevator broken. I walked down 8 floors to the ground floor finding the elevator is back and running. Then went I was on the street finding a cab, it rained! Not the heavy type rain but it was drizzling, enough to irritate you. I got a cab in like 30 mins, and of course, got into a hell of a traffic! It was a frustrating kind of traffic since I was only going to Shang ... a supposedly 5-10 mins drive from my place which became an almost one hour drive-and-stop-and-honk thing. Then I got to Shang and got my Passport picture taken. The camera-girl gave me a blazer to top my blue collared shirt and after complaining about my hair (since my ears aren't showing and they should be showing), about my earrings (absolutely no earrrings!) and also about my face position (it should be straight!). Then I got the pictures and I absolutely hate them. Then when we were in line to get a taxi, the cab that we got died on us while we were on our way home. See? Bad luck indeed!
Hope today turns out to be a better day than yesterday:)

♥ perfection in their imperfection?

From Megan McCafferty's website: Old flames are reignited in this eagerly awaited fifth and final book in the Jessica Darling series. Captivated readers have followed her through every step and misstep, from a tormented, tart-tongued teenager, to a college grad stumbling toward adulthood. Now a young professional in her mid-twenties, Jess is off to a Caribbean wedding.
[SPOILER ALERT! Proceed with caution if you haven't read Fourth Comings.]
As she rushes to her gate at the airport, she literally runs into her former boyfriend, Marcus Flutie. It’s the first time she’s seen him since she reluctantly turned down his marriage proposal three years earlier—and emotions run high. Marcus and Jessica have both changed dramatically, yet their connection feels as familiar as ever. Is their reunion just a fluke or has fate orchestrated this collision of their lives once again? Partly told from Marcus’s point of view, Perfect Fifths finally lets readers inside the mind of the only person who’s both troubled and titillated Jessica Darling for years. Expect nothing less than the satisfying conclusion fans have been waiting for, one perfect in its imperfection.
Personally, I've been waiting for this novel for two years! It's actually sad to know that this IS the final book on Jessica Darling. My friend suggested this book to me when we were still roommates back during frosh year (frosh = freshman), and I have to say, I've instantly fallen in love with Jessica and of course her bad-boy-turned-monk-like-but-surely-a-hottie Marcus Flutie. So I guess I owe to my former roommate my deepest thank yous for making me read the first novel - Sloppy Firsts.
Have no idea what I'm talking about? I'll just post one of the winning book trailers:)

♥ back to what I know
This week, there has been some new episodes of some series to feast on while other series gets a break.
Greek is back for another season...or shall I say back to continue its current season. And Greek's resurfacing has me on the edge of my seat for about more than a month! Thank God Greek is back with a new hottie HOT HOT star - JESSE McCARTNEY! Ohhh..he is just soooo HOT! (fan mode is on!) Now, I'm looking forward to next week for its new episode since this week's episode left me hanging and longing for more Casey, Cappie, Max, and the whole gang!
The last night I decided to update myself with 90210 and downloaded 7 episodes all at once, and today, since we (or I) don't have classes today, I decided to watch them all. Sorta like a 90210 Marathon:) After watching them all, I think I'm beginning to re-love the series. I love Adrianna! She's the only imperfect girl in the series and she's I think the only girl who really has issues. And I love her issues! Drug problem, pregancy problem, parent problem, the list goes on! Also, I'm loving Silver. Since the get-go, I automatically fell in love with her character. She is so TWISTED! And with the lastest episode, SHE IS REALLY GETTING TWISTED and I think she's losing her mind! EXCITING!
Now, I'm missing my regular shows, namely: Privileged (hope the series gets back ASAP), Brothers and Sisters (I think they'll be back the week after Holy Week), Grey's Anatomy (I think same as Brothers and Sisters, or maybe they'll be back next week), and of course True Blood (I think they'll be back this June or July..sigh)
But since I'm still getting my regular dosage of Gossip Girl, Amazing Race and American Idol, I'm still pretty much a-Ok:)
