♥ tiring week..umph!!
This week has been tiring! well, physically tiring that is.
Last monday, my running thing started at ULTRA. Of course, my dad was with me since he knew everyone there and his coach and trainer would be my coach and trainer as well. My dad and I started off with 7 laps of jog-walk. Then my trainer took over and we did 5 laps of the same thing. My trainer said that what we did was like almost a 5k marathon. WHAT?? haha:)) If my legs could talk, they would have been screaming at me and telling me to stop and just walk the whole thing off. But I was really determined to make this running thing work. After all the running, or i shoud say jogging, it was time for stretching. The stretch was great! It really made my legs relax and of course the muscle pain was slowly going away - or so I thought.
And after 3 hours, the whole ordeal was done and on our way back home, ALL OF MY MUSCLES WERE FREAKIN' ACHING! I mean seriously, I can't walk properly since my shins and thighs were practically like stone and it was freakin' painfull! I swear, at that point, I could've been addicted to painkillers since i downed 2 Alaxans in one go and the following day downed another 2 Advils.
Speaking of the following day, Tuesday was just as painfull. I was still sore all over and I can't even go down our stairs! So I decided it was time to take some time off school. Absent! wohoo! hahaha:)) I spent the whole day resting and of course, sleeping.
Wednesday was like monday. Running/jogging thing again. The first few laps were excruciating! my shins were screaming, and so were my thighs. But after stretching, everything was a bit better and they let me do a 30 min. jog-walk. Then another stretching.
Today, I was literally swearing at the sight of a flight of stairs. I mean, I know stairs serve a greater purpose, but I wish there are other options other than taking the stairs in school..pwede bang may escalator?? hahaha:))
Luckily for tomorrow, I won't have any running thing but there'll be one on Saturday morning. I just hope that this running stint that I'm doing would really shed off some pounds. I really need to lose weight.
